2024年是我国出版学研究的繁荣之年。国家政策层面上的出版学科共建贯穿出版学研究的全过程,习近平文化思想为出版学研究提供了新的指引,生成式人工智能冲击着出版业的既有格局,新质生产力理论引发了出版业升级的新思考,也使得出版数据、数字版权得到更集中讨论。与此同时,共和国成立75周年带来的红色出版史研究,由技术引发的阅读方式变化,出版“走出去”面临的新机遇和新挑战等,都成为过去一年我国出版学研究的关注热点,也构成了2024年出版学研究的十大话题:出版学科共建、生成式人工智能、数字版权、新质生产力、出版数据、红色出版史、习近平文化思想、出版概念、阅读研究、出版“走出去”。
The year 2024 has witnessed a flourishing period for publishing studies in China. The co-construction of publishing disciplines at the national policy level permeates the entire process of publishing studies. The fundamental concept of collaborative construction of publishing disciplines involves joint participation from government, industry, academia, research, and application sectors in planning publishing discipline specialties. Xi Jinping Thought on Culture has provided novel guidance for publishing studies while stimulating comprehensive explorations of its profound connotations within the publishing discipline. Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) is transforming the traditional structure of the publishing industry, attracting substantial attention from both academia and industry. Discussion focuses on how GenAI empowers publishing processes and cultivates publishing talents, while addressing potential risks including human-machine relationships, ethical dilemmas, and privacy and security concerns. The theory of new quality productive forces has sparked fresh reflections on the upgrading of the publishing industry. Scholars and practitioners are investigating how new quality productive forces in publishing can drive the high-quality development of the industry. This also enables more concentrated discussions on the definition and application of publishing data, the digital copyright determination and allocation, copyright exploration in digital work usage, and solutions to related digital copyright matters. Meanwhile, research on red publishing history, prompted by the 75th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, has demonstrated excellence in terms of research topics, materials, and perspectives. Publishing concept research has remained a constant thread throughout publishing studies in 2024, focusing on core concept exploration while examining theoretical aspects of emerging publishing concepts, thereby enriching the understanding of publishing and expanding the connotation of the discipline. Technological advances in reading methods have sparked discussions on reading's relationship with social issues and reading behaviors, employing both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to achieve comprehensive analysis. The publishing industry faces novel opportunities and challenges when going global. These aspects have emerged as hot topics in China's publishing research over the past year, constituting the ten major topics of publishing studies in 2024: collaborative construction of publishing discipline, generative artificial intelligence, digital copyright, new quality productive forces, publishing data, Chinese red publishing history, Xi Jinping thought on culture, reading research, and publishing going global.
